Shipping & Delivery Policy

This Shipping & Delivery Policy (“Policy”) is published and shall be construed in accordance with the provisions of Rule 4 of the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder, including any amendments or modifications thereto.

This Policy is applicable to all purchases and services availed through the website or digital platform operated by Devalay Rituals & Services Pvt. Ltd., a company registered under the Companies Act, 2013, having its registered office at 1002 EM Bypass, The Address Tower 4, Flat 5F, Opposite Science City, Kolkata – 700105, West Bengal, India (hereinafter referred to as “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing or using our website and availing any service therein, the user (“you” or “Yajman”) agrees to be bound by the terms of this Policy.

  1. Scope and Application

This Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which the Company shall undertake the shipping and delivery of prasad and sacred items to its customers, pursuant to the successful booking and performance of any religious or Vedic ritual (“Puja”) through the Company’s platform.

This Policy shall apply uniformly to all users availing puja services and shall form an integral part of the terms and conditions governing the use of the platform.

  1. Serviceable Areas

At present, Devalay Rituals & Services Pvt. Ltd. provides physical shipping and delivery services exclusively within the territory of the Republic of India. International shipping is not available at this time. However, users residing outside India are entitled to receive digital confirmation in the form of video, photo, or written proof of puja as applicable.

  1. Items Eligible for Delivery

The Company shall, subject to completion of the puja, dispatch the following sanctified items based on the package selected at the time of booking:

Dry packed Temple Prasad

Sacred items such as Kumkum, Chandan, Vibhuti, Holy Ash, etc.

Add-on products including but not limited to Rudraksha, Yantras, Puja Samagri, or spiritually consecrated souvenirs

All items are handled and packaged in accordance with traditional customs, maintaining ritual sanctity.

  1. Shipping Mechanism

All orders are dispatched via standard courier services without the provision of live tracking. The Company shall make best efforts to notify the user upon dispatch of the parcel via electronic means such as email, WhatsApp, or SMS, subject to the availability of such communication channels.

The Company assumes no liability for any delay, loss, or damage caused by third-party logistics service providers but will make reasonable efforts to assist in the resolution of such issues.

  1. Dispatch and Delivery Timelines

All items shall be dispatched within 3 to 5 business days post-completion of the ritual, subject to the availability of courier services and applicable regional regulations.

Estimated delivery time is 7 to 10 working days from the date of dispatch, depending on the delivery pin code and logistical constraints.

The Company shall not be liable for any delay in delivery due to force majeure events, unforeseen transit delays, or third-party errors.

  1. Obligation of the User

It is the responsibility of the user to ensure that the shipping address, contact number, and pin code provided at the time of booking are accurate, complete, and serviceable. The Company shall not be held liable for failed deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete information provided by the user.

In case of re-dispatch of the parcel due to return, re-routing, or non-delivery, the additional shipping charges, if any, shall be borne by the user.

  1. Shipping Charges

Shipping of prasad and standard spiritual items is included in the puja service fee unless otherwise stated. However, the Company reserves the right to levy additional courier charges for:

Delivery to remote or difficult-to-access locations

Bulk orders or additional item requests

Special packaging requirements for fragile or high-value spiritual items

Any applicable shipping charges shall be clearly communicated before the completion of the transaction.

  1. Delay, Damage, or Loss

In case the parcel is delayed, damaged, tampered with, or lost in transit, the user must notify the Company via email at devalayrituals2025@gmail.com or call at +91 8777351921 within 48 hours of receiving the parcel or scheduled delivery date.

The Company will assess the complaint and may, at its sole discretion:

Re-dispatch the same items if possible, or

Offer a partial refund as per the Refund & Cancellation Policy

No requests for re-dispatch or refund will be entertained after 48 hours from the time of receipt.

  1. Return & Replacement

Given the sacred and perishable nature of the prasad and spiritually consecrated items, the Company does not accept returns under any circumstances. However, complaints regarding damaged or missing items will be considered if reported promptly.

  1. Legal Jurisdiction

This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Kolkata, West Bengal, where the Company’s registered office is located.
